MARION — Gary Lynn Clark, 48, of San Francisco, died Saturday, July 8, 2006, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home of Marion, S.C., at 11 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2006, with burial to follow in Devotion Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Clark was born in Kingsport, Tenn., a son of Lila Lee Clark and Grady Clark Jr. of Marion, S.C. He was a chemical engineer and member of Marion Baptist Church. Mr. Clark graduated from the University of South Carolina with degrees in chemical engineering and biology. He was past President of the Southeastern Colleges and Universities of Chemical Engineering. Other than his parents, Mr. Clark is survived by his daughter, Keegan Clark of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; brother, Timothy Davis Clark and his wife, Leigh; nieces, Summer and Bailey; nephew, Timmy of Marion, S.C.
