CONWAY | Mrs. Annie Mae Huggins, 72, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at her residence after an illness. Born in Marion, Mrs. Huggins was a daughter of the late Gary W. Sawyer and Clara Causey Sawyer. She retired from AVX and was a member of First Baptist Church in Surfside Beach. Surviving are three sons, Jimmy Huggins and his wife, Tammy, of Socastee, Danny Huggins and Jackie Huggins and his wife, Peggy, all of Conway; two daughters, Ann Marie Gibson and her husband, Rick, of Maulden and Sandy Bevel of Conway; a sister, Sally K. Joye and her husband, Rembart, of Marion; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2006 from the Chapel of Richardson Funeral Home in Marion with burial in Little Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
