MARION — Mr. Albert O’Neil Barnhill, 61, died Thursday, July 27, 2006, in Grand Strand Regional Medical Center after an illness. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29, at the chapel of Richardson Funeral Home with entombment following in Palmetto Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will be at 500 Baker Street in Marion at all other times. Born in Conway, Mr. Barnhill was a son of Estaline Jordan Barnhill and the late Rev. Francis Gilbert Barnhill. He had retired as CEO of Blumenthal Mills and was a former member of the Marion Rotary Club and a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors, along with his mother, are his wife, Jean Fulmer Barnhill of Marion; two daughters, Kimberly Barnhill Tanner and her husband, Harold Franklin Tanner Jr., of Marion and Lauri Leigh Barnhill of Florence; a brother, Timothy Edward Barnhill of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Linda Barnhill Norvell of Wilmington, N.C., and Donna Barnhill Hinson of West Palm Beach, Fla.
