MARION — Mrs. Mary Bee Scott Tindal, 80, died Friday, July 14, 2006, in Marion Nursing Center after an illness. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, in Rose Hill Cemetery. The services will be directed by Smith-Collins Funeral Home. Mrs. Tindal was born November 16, 1925, in Marion, a daughter of the late Emerson Scott, Sr. and the late Anabelle Baker Scott. She retired from Marion Memorial Hospital as an admission clerk. She attended Winthrop College and was a former member of Eastern Star. Mrs. Tindal was a member of Marion Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Tindal are two sons, Warren Tindal, III and his wife, Vera, of Murrells Inlet and Robert “Bobby” Tindal and his wife, Teresa, of Shallote, N.C.; a daughter, Eveleigh T. Sawyer and her husband, Emerson, of Mullins; four grandchildren, Lori Turner of Little River, Tanya Russ and her husband, Billy, of Mullins, Wendy Tindal of Murrells Inlet and Crystal Tindal of Shallotte, N.C.; three great-grandchildren, Sierra Russ, Maddison Turner and Claire Turner; two brothers, Emerson Scott, Jr. and his wife, Millie, of Marion and Robert A. Scott of Marion; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tindal was predeceased by an infant son, Randy Tindal, a brother, Earl B. Scott, and two sisters, Helen Scott Stroud and Lillian Scott Rogers. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at Smith-Collins Funeral Home.
