TABOR CITY, N.C. | Marilyn Williamson Martin Soles, 58, wife of Allen Drex Soles died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Loris Community Hospital. She was born January 17, 1951 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Williamson and the late Martha Elizabeth Pridgen Williamson. Marilyn was a retired cosmetologist and barber. She was a member of Floyds Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving Marilyn in addition to her husband of the home are; a son, Ancil Montgomery ''Monty'' Martin of Loris; a daughter, Tonya Dawn Martin Fowler and her husband, James R. Fowler III, of Nichols; three grandchildren, Ancil Jacob Martin, Reagan Nicole Fowler and Dawson Andrew Fowler; a brother, Keith Williamson of Mullins; and five sisters, Joyce Lackey, Janet Britt, Jean Martin, Sylvia Britt and Bonnie Johnson, all of Mullins. Marilyn was predeceased by her first husband, Ancil Martin; two sisters, her twin sister, Carolyn W. Elliott and Bobbie W. Horne; and two brothers, Robbie D. Williamson and Elvin Williamson. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2009 in Floyds Freewill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bruce Elliott and the Rev. Glenn Brown officiating. Entombment will follow in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
