I'm sorry it just dawned on me I am not allowed to send attachments - but if anyone is interested in seeing the pictures, please email me and I will send them to you. I would love to help her identify them.
a descendant of Alexander (Sandy) Lupo, had some old pictures in her possession, but she doesnt know who they are. she descends through Sandy's daughter Aldia Mitcheal "Mitch" Lupo and her son Cornie Lupo (Mitch never married.) she is speculating that the men in the pictures are lupos. I am attaching one of the photos. if anyone can identify him, it would be appreciated! I can post the others if interested - one of the others is an older, somewhat faded picture of an elderly man (Cornie Lupo, maybe?) and there is also one of a younger man.
I am looking for information on the family of Reeves Hayes (1820) and Celia Elvington. I am particularly trying to find which of their sons was the father of Carey Hayes (b. abt. 1900) and Mattie Hayes (b. 1902) Mattie and Carey's parents died before 1910. Mattie was raised by her aunt, Louraney Hayes Horne. Carey was raised by another aunt, Della Hayes Finckles. No one in my family seems to know who their parents were - Mattie has one son living and he doesnt know. He only remembers his uncle Carey. The names of the children of Reeves and Celia that I have are Louraney (my gggrandmother) Marshall 1858 Leta 1856 Hugh 1862 Della 1865 James 1867 Robert 1874 There may be others that I am not aware of. If anyone has information on this or any other information related to members of the reeves hayes family, I would love to hear from you.
