    3. I have found where a Susannah Temple married a Vincent Salmon here in Robeson Co NC on February 16th 1790 by one Lawrence Wood Esqr. Vincent Salmon appeared to have lived near the presentday town of Marietta, which is about 1/2 mile across the state line here in Robeson Co NC. I know that Temple is a Dillon/Marion Co SC name. According to records this Susannah Temple, or Susan as she was known, was born about 1763. How does she fit into the grand scheme of the Temple family of Marion Dis SC? -- Sam West e-mail: sam.west.1@gmail.com "Not all of us can do great things, but we all can do small things in a great way." author unknown

    2. Melanie Collins
    3. Hello all-- My daddy said his father was buried at Pleasant Grove but there is no headstone. Are there any local folks on the list who know whether or not there is a written record of burials, regardless? Is there a good time to call the church? I went there, and cataloged some of the headstones, and have reviewed the online list of headstones. There is a big empty spot where daddy said his daddy was... any thoughts would be most appreciated. --melanie Hamilton collins > -----Original Message----- > From: scmarion-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:scmarion- > bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Linda C.
