    1. [SCMARION] Jimmy Dale Martin
    2. COLUMBIA - Jimmy Dale Martin, 54, died Thursday, February 19, 2009, at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington. He was born December 5, 1954, in Mullins, S.C. He was the son of Irene Luther and the late H.M. Martin. Jimmy was a man of love and a servant of the Lord. He loved his family, he loved his children and he loved people even if they seemed undeserving. His love resonated through everyone and it never had to be earned. His life was led in servitude. He served the people in his life without an inkling expected in return. He graduated from Green Sea-Floyds High School as an honor graduate and was a Francis Marion Scholar in 1972. He graduated from Francis Marion University with an economics degree in 1977. Jimmy worked for the IRS for 11 years. Within his church community he was a deacon. Yet, never could there be an amounted standard to measure the greatness of this man. His greatness was reflected by the strength of his heart. He loved in spite of himself, and the sacrifices he made to sustain the happiness of others around him was far greater than anything that any worldly accomplishment could measure. His life was made significant and Christ reflected through him. Survivors include: his Wife: Diana Fields Martin; Daughters: Savannah Rae Kepley and Ashleigh Renee Martin; Son: Ryan Cooper Martin; Son-in-Law: Justin Kyle Kepley; and Ashleigh Renee Martin; Son: Ryan Cooper Martin; Son-in-Law: Justin Kyle Kepley; Grandson: Kristian Dean Kepley; Sister: Lois Montgomery; and Brothers: Gene Martin and Brian Martin. 3. Sam, First how are you doing. Have not heard or seen anything from you in sometime. Heard that you had a relaspe. We at the Pee Dee Chapter keep asking about you. Keeping you in my prayers. Do not have anything on the Temple family in Marion County, myself, except some late 1900 stuff. Would like to ask if you know of anyone that could give a program on the Indian genealogy of Robeson, Columbus, and Dillon County? I have been given several persons, but they only can talk about the culture. We always enjoy your programs also at the Chapter.
