There's another nasty v*rus on the loose which is slowing down and gumming up the Internet - Nimda. A copy has already come my way, lucky me, and it looks like the attachment to email is usually called "readme.exe". I hope all of you know to NEVER click on such an attachment no matter who it's from. Be sure to update your virus definitions files for your anti-virus software so that you don't get inadvertently hit by this thing. I don't have the URLs for all AV software vendors, but the most popular are McAfee and Norton, soooo... For McAfee Anti-virus updates: http://www.mcafee.com/ For Norton (Symantec) Anti-virus updates: http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/ Just a reminder: the folks at Rootsweb do a fabulous job of preventing these things from spreading via the mailing lists. It's the major reason why they do not allow attachments to list postings. Any email which appears to be a reply to a post and which has an attachment should be regarded with deep suspicion for it could not have been sent to you via the normal list! Victoria

Hi All, Has anyone ever come across the name Imberfield or Emberfield. I cam across my gg grandmother's death certificate (she was 104) and it listed her father as Jesse Imberfield (i think it's an I), and her mother as Lucy Lee. Imberfield is an unusal name for me although he was listed as being born in Dillon Co. (although there was no Dillon Co. then). My gg grandmother's name was Annie, married name Calder. I also found Annie's daughter's death certificate and it said Annie's maiden name was Nichols. So this is strange. If anybody has come across this name please give me a shout sandra brumbles
If this is Second Baptist Church in Dillon, SC - it was called the Manning Township years ago - I don't know if this is still true. Second Baptist put out a church history several years ago. You can call the church secretary on Monday, Wednesday & Fridays - 10:00 am to Noon 843-774-4401. I know there were Cooks when Second Baptist was started but not about Hulons. Hope this helps.

Please pass this to Norma Garbert; I do not seem to find her e-mail address, and I am sure that she would enjoy it........Thank you ! Désirée
Can someone tell me which townships the Second Baptist Church and the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church are located in? Please e-mail me directly as I am on the digest version and only get one message a week. I have census microfilm thru inter-library loan, and this would make searching much easier. I am looking for the Cook and Hulon families who were members of these churches, if anyone has any information on either of these families. Thank you. SGoff1954@aol.com
