Robeson County, NC borders South Carolina. There was a lot of movement back and forth and the border itself was in dispute for some time. Some properties were in both states, even after the border was finally established. I think I found Martha , Isaac Spivey's dau by his first wife, living with her Gparents Stephen and Vincy Lamb in Southern Div of Robeson Co. The Lambs were a little old to be having children and Martha's last name was ditto'ed, she was listed as 7 years old ( she was born 1844 )
