I am not sure where to look for my ancestor. Was Lexington District also called Dutch Fork or known by any other names? I understand that there were four different families of Taylors in Lexington District in 1820s. Is there a source where I could write to ask if anyone has a Thomas Taylor born 5/6 October 1823?
