They gave birth to my Mother on 12/8/1927, then for unknown reasons gave her to a family in Greenville, SC, to raise, though an adoption was never finalized until after the adoptive parents were deceased, and my Mom finalized it herself. I only know that her real parents were from N.C. (Andrew) and S.C. (Grace), no dates of birth, or death. I have a piece of paper with their names, and an address for what appears to say Brandon Mills, # 9 Osteen st, Greenville, along with a hair clipping of my Mothers.
