I agree with your post about the Jacob Corley being a son of Lawrence Corley. The only dates that I have for this couple is that Elizabeth Hendrix was born about 1787 and both she and Jacob died prior to 1840 in Alabama. I believe that this information came from the LGE. --- Webb Bays Blackman --- tpsteele@charter.net wrote: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/AgB.2ACI/1076.1.2.2 > > Message Board Post: > > M.H. Spivey in his "Genealogical History of Lexington, SC 1735 - 1870 lists a Jacob Corley (no dates given) as one of 15 children of Lawrence Corley (1742) and Christena Blacken who died in 1806. The Jacob Corley mentioned here was the 6th child and married Anna Elizabeth Hendrix. > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
