Hello, Does anyone have a Mary Mims Fikes/Fites. I don't know if she was a Mims or a Fikes. She was born abt. 1805 and married a John Thomas Floyd. Their first known child was John Wesley Floyd b. 1833 in Talbot Co. Georgia. It is possible that she had a Floyd daughter in 1829 and another in 1831. If she was a Mims and married a Fikes they would have married prior to 1833 and perhaps prior to 1829. He either died early in their marriage or her name was Mary Mims Fikes before marriage. I can find no children from a Mims/Fikes marriage. Thank you, Betsy Pylate Simpson
