Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/AgB.2ACI/1142.1.1 Message Board Post: I looked in my 1850 Census of Lexington County and found three Duncans...John A...it shows as marrying a Maria Cayce who was b abt 1831, a Michael Dunkin age 35 m a Mill Wright married to Elizabeth (Shealy) Dunkin age 38 f, and a Martha A. Dunkin age 14 f who was born 9/27/1835 -12/20/1891 who is buried at St. Johns Lutheran Chruch Cem, Pomaria, SC who married Noah I. Chapman. In my Newberry, South Carolina Cemeteries, VI , 1802 book, I found these Duncans..Baurch, Callie L., Clara M., Elizabeth, Frank, George, George A. , J. P., J. W. M., John C., Mary, Mary C., Mary I, Mattie B., Nancy Rebecca, Plano, Rosa Simpson, Sidney D., Margery... Since there are so many..please respond back if you wish me to look up one or two of these.... In the Long Family, 1578-1955, Including Allied Families, but Eytive Long Evans, I found a Jeremiah, a William, and a Samuel who either were paid out of the estate of George Long or were buyers at the sale of Catharine Long's estate in Edgefield County, South Carolina.
