Surnames: CORLEY GILLIAM BARR BROWN PHILLIPS HENDRIX DICK Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/AgB.2ACI/1187 Message Board Post: My great great grandfather was James Columbia CORLEY of SC (according to census). I descend from his child born to his second wife, Mary BROWN of Griffin, GA. Their children were Harry, Ruth, Paul and Reuben. I am trying to determine his lineage. He had one son, Edward Lee, by his first wife, who was Molly GILLIAM. Edward's death certificate states he was born in Batesburg, SC. If anyone recognizes this lineage or any of these names, please contact me as I believe finding out who Molly is and where she came from may help me determine where James descended from. Of note, his third wife was Hattie PHILLIPS in Griffin, GA and his fourth wife was Mattie DICK of Griffin, GA. I have attached J.C.'s (as he was known) picture. Thanks!

    3. I have found that my great grandmother was Lydia or Lydda D. harman who married a John Hutto, my problem is that I can't find which John this is and who are his parents. I know that John was born about 1839 in SC and that Lydia or Lydda D. Harman was born about 1842; i know that their children were Martha 1861, James Zebulon 1864 who moved to florida; John V. 1866-1925 (my g. grandfather and the father of my grandmother Bertha I. hutto) infant born around 1869, Cordelia born 1872; Lizza born 1874 and Lee 1879 who moved to Florida and family lost touch. I know that John V. and his family are all burried at Melrose Cemetary In Swansea, SC. Can anyone help me with this John Hutto who married Lydia or Lydda Hutto. She is according to a great aunt I talked to that Lydia or Lydda is burried at Florence Baptist church in Pelion and that all that is there is a wooden stake and sure enough there is. but my biggest problem has been who were John's parents? Some say that It is Nicholas and Susannah but it doesn't fit since he was married to a thursana Smithart. Thanks Peggy
