subscribe Just hoping someone might have additional information about one Moses Halcomb 1790 in Laurens Co. census. Has anyone noticed any land records or other items that may mention him? any ideas appreciated. I know nothing ofhim except that he may have been Native Am. or may have married a Native American. Thanks, Sue in Al.
The only record in my notes for Moses is the 1790 census. It looks like he lived in Youngs Township, the northern part of the county. I do not have access to the Sarah Nash book that has abstracts of the early land records. He is not listed in the Union County Land Grant collection which includes "his" part of Laurens County. ----- Original Message ----- From: <SewzArt@aol.com> To: <SCLAUREN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 01, 2006 1:39 PM Subject: [SCLAUREN] RE:Moses Halcomb 1790? > subscribe > Just hoping someone might have additional information about one Moses > Halcomb 1790 in Laurens Co. census. > Has anyone noticed any land records or other items that may mention him? > any ideas appreciated. > I know nothing ofhim except that he may have been Native Am. or may have > married a Native American. > Thanks, > Sue in Al. > > > ============================== > Search the US Census Collection.
