My grandfather, Thomas Rush Kissick, had 4 sisters.....Frances, Margaret, Martha (Jane), and Nancy. Their mother was Jane Down. All were born in Newberry Co. between 1833 and 1850, but in 1860, they were in Laurens Co. at Martins Deport. I'm looking for info on all of these women. Who did they marry? Does your family include a grandmother or gr-grandmother who was a Kissick before marriage? Thanks, Rose
My census notes for 1860, Laurens Co., has Jane Kissick, age 54, and Thomas R., age 4. I did not include female children in my notes. I believe that they lived about 1.5 miles northwest of Belfast. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rose Miller" <millerrk28@verizon.net> To: <SCLAUREN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 09, 2006 4:22 PM Subject: [SCLAUREN] Kissick Girls > My grandfather, Thomas Rush Kissick, had 4 sisters.....Frances, Margaret, > Martha (Jane), and Nancy.
