My father (John Elbert TIMMERMAN) married Willie May THOMPSON, in Greenwood I believe, in 1928; and they had 3 girls before divorcing. He then married my mother. The girls were names Mary Peggy, Jean and Joy ... all TIMMERMAN; and all were born in the 1930's. I am aware that Peggy and Joy have deceased; but hopefully Jean is alive. She would likely be in her 70's. In 1920 census for Laurens, the family of Jasper B. Thompson(30) is listed. Jasper is from SC and wife, Mary (29) is from Virginia. The listed children are dad's future wife, Willie May THOMPSON, age 10, sister Blanche THPMPSON, age 8, Edna THOMPSON, age 6, brother Walter THOMPSON, age 4 and baby brother Charles THOMPSON, age 4 months. Up the page is another THOMPSON family that may be related; Robert and Minnie THOMPSON; with children R. Charles, Ruth, Carl and Bruce. If anyone knows of any relatives of this Jasper B THOMPSON family, please put me in touch with them.
