Andrew J. Monroe and Nancy Ann Bagwell were married before 1870 and had several children: among which were Robert, John, Margaret, William, Andrew, Jr, and ANNIE E. MONROE born 9 Jan 1880. Annie E. Monroe married John Morton Collins abt. 1898 and had about 8 children. The LDS website says they are buried near Greenville, Princ. Bap. Switz. Does anyone know what that means? John is supposed to have died about 1946, and Annie died either in 1923 or 1933, I thought I found her in the 1930 census, so I need a bit of clarification. If someone can point me to a Collins or Monroe researcher who can help me with descendant info of this couple, I would be grateful. Thanks. Rose Collins Lowther Brandon MS 39047
In the Laurens Co. Scrapbook, page 280, Wm. F. Bagwell submitted an article on the Monroe family. He mentions Andrew and Nancy. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rose Lowther" <Rose@circusware.com> To: <SCLAUREN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 05, 2006 1:58 AM Subject: [SCLAUREN] MONROE-COLLINS info needed > Andrew J.
