Could someone please tell me the source of the name Laurens as applies to the county? I will need to know how that can be documented also. I am new to this list, descended from Joseph Couch, Nelson and Reuben Kelley, John Alvin Bramblett, William Griffin and daughter Franky who married William McTeer, probably John and Phebe Flewellyn Garrett.
