I suspect that I know who my ggrandparents were but have been unable to prove it. I think it is quite possible that the Prather's in Laurens and Clinton are related. My ggrandmother is buried at Watts Mill. I'm not sure where the cemetary is but I think it's one of those places. That side of my family is mostly from Newberry, Laurens and Union Co. I will be glad to give you what information I have if you can question some of your relatives. My dad passed away in April and my only hope now is his 83 year old sister. I have questioned her but she doesn't know a lot either. She didn't even know who her father's mother was until I told her. She gave me some information but not a lot. We were planning to go to S.C. at Christmas. Our travel plans have changed now. My daughter, her family and now my mother live in Honolulu and we, along with my sister and a friend, decided Honolulu at Thanksgiving was preferable t! o S.C. in December. Been there, done that.
