However, it sounds like your Willis is the brother to my James L. Chapman of Indiana, whose brother was William of Hopkins Co., TX. James L. Chapman was the father to Elisha Embree Chapman, (1840 Indiana - 1902 Texas) my gGrandfather. In fact, James L. Chapman named one of his sons Willis M. (b 1850).
