    1. [SCLAUREN] John A. Wilson b. 1836 -reply
    2. Deed Book T, page 32, 1872, shows that John Ball sold 61 acres and a half acre cemetery to John A. Wilson and Margaret Williams. The property was along the road to John Ball's. The 1883 map shows A. Wilson near J. Ball in Dials Township about 1/2 mile from Youngs Twp. The location is midway between Warrior and Beaverdam Creeks. My notes are a little garbled, but the T-32 deed also says something like "Margaret William to homestead house and 25 acres. Dispence? of lien on property sold on Durbin Creek". Margaret Williams is in the 1870 census for which I interpret her 1870 location as north of Durbin Church which is in the Durbin Creek watershed. The 1880 census entry for these people looks like the Beaverdam-Warrior Creek location. Another deed that might be for a different family is Book O, page 248, 1839. G. W. Smith sold 40 acres on the Saluda River to John Wilson of Abbeville (County?). In Deed P-4, about 1845, John Wilson sold 44 1/2 acres on Saluda River to Joseph McCullough. Richard Lorenz
