Thanks Richard for the info on the land grants Unity is belived to be the wife of the George Marchbanks you mentioned. Also, they had a son Stephen b. abt 1770. I have no information on Joel Marchbanks. Patience Marchbanks' parents are unidentified. She married Joab League. Stephen Marchbanks who died in 1805 had a wife named Mary (Polly). unknown if she was the one excommunicated. There is a book in the Greenville County Library by Betty Willie on the Marchbanks and League families that may have the answers you want.
