Joseph Lyon lived in Laurens Co. )near Cedar Grove, I believe), from 1790 to at least 1830. I do not find a James Lyon in any of my notes. In Deed M-220, Joseph Lyons sold 111 acres to his son Emanuel. This was recorded in 1832, located in the Durbin Creek watershed.
