    3. In the book "Maryland and Virginia Colonials" by Sharon Doliante, there are mentions of Booker Foster. My gggrandfather was Joel Foster but I haven't been able to connect them. The book is set up by surnames. In the Williams chapter (Joel's daughter Clementine married Daniel Maxie Williams. They are my ggrandparents), On page 1072 in tracing Josiah Williams, the following entry is made: Oct. 27, 1796- Josiah Williams and Judith, his wife, sold for 466 pounds to Booker Foster 380 a. adjoining lands of Phillip Williams, Ben Overton,Tho.Atkinson, Est. of Rowlett Pride,William Dearing, Daniel Williams, Aron League and James League.(Amelia Co. Deed Book 20, pg. 206). On page 1107 the Will of Phillip Williams, Sr.dated Jan 14,1785 is witnessed by Booker Foster. At a Court held for Amelia County (VA) the 18th day of December,1786, the Last Will and Testament of Phillip Williams Sen. decd. was Exhibited into Court and Proved by the oaths of Booker Foster, Augustin Beadle and Benjamin Overton, the witnesses thereto. On June 28, 1787 the Inventory of Phillip Williams' Estate was introduced in Amelia County Court. Booker Foster is one of the appraisers of the Estate. I realize all this does is establish that he was in Amelia County, VA at the dates given but maybe it will help someone.
