    3. The Laurens Co. Scrap Book, page 631, lists Samuel Barksdale as the post master. I do not know very accurately where he lived, but I believe it to be northeast of Dials Church. In 1860 there were 97 dwellings served by the Monroe Post Office. I do not have Mary M. Collins in my 1860 census notes. If you can tell me here dwelling number in that census I might be able to tell you more accurately where she lived.
