Mason Nabors appears in the 1820 Laurens Co. census. Sam Nabors may have been in Greenville Co. about this time. There is another Sam in the Laurens census, but he lived in another part of the county. Deed book H, page 34 (H-34) shows Fleet Nabors selling 50 acres to Sam Nabors of Laurens Co. Wit. Robvt and Zedekiah Nabors. Deed H-34 in 1804 also shows Elisha Eastis / Estes selling land to Sam Nabors of Greenville Co. on Old Indian Boundary Line on Line Creek. Wit. Zedekiah Nabors. The Indian Boundary is appx. same as the Greenville Co. line. Sam is mentioned in other property transactions that are in my notes. H46 and H48 are on Horse Creek which crosses the Greenville Co. line between the Saluda and Reedy Rivers. Robert and Sam are mentioned in H42 on Horse Cr. Robert in M67, 1828, on Horse Cr. Sam and Mason and Blasingame and Allen are in M182 or M183 on the Saluda River (1817 & 1819). Sam is mentioned as a Grant in M11 and O133, both on Saluda Rivers. "Grant" does not always mean a land grant. I would look in Greenville Co. records for more on this family. I am not researching them in particular, so there may be much more in Laurens Co. also.
