Zebulon Jr was my gr-gr-gr-grgrandfather. Thanks ever so much for the info. I had little or no information on William and Elizabeth other than their names and some of the property they owned in Rockingham Co, NC and Laurens Co, SC. I believe William's father was John Jr/John II who was son of John whose father was Ensign Thomas Savage who was given 9000 acres of land in Northampton Co, Va by Chief Powhatan in the 1600s.
