I have a few census and property records in my notes that apply to this family. Please let me know if my interpretations are wrong. The earliest property record for Dan is Book O, page 35, 1839 which is located near Kings Chapel as far as I can tell. Other later records suggest the same general location. What might be son John E. is in the same area in 1870 and 1880. In 1880 (I believe it was), this person is listed as Efford Goddard. J.E. is on the 1883 map about 0.4 miles south of Kings Chapel. My interpretation of the census records is that Dan lived near this location from 1840 on. In 1830 he lived much further north, I believe. Please let me know if you know more accurately where Daniel lived. Richard Lorenz
