William Blanton Boyd was my g,g,g grandfather. My grandmother, ALLIE BOYD, b. Sept. 27, 1860, Laurens Co., d. Feb. 16, 1843, Greenwood, SC. Married HENRY YOUNG GODDARD. ALLIE BOYD was the 4th child of James Bradford Boyd & Pamela Forgy. JAMES BRADFORD BOYD ( Samuel McClurken (3) William Blanton (2) James (1) was the descending line. I am also connected to PINSONS. My grandmother was Lilla Estelle Pinson, daughter of NIMROD PINSON. I did know know William Blanton Boyd was a Revolutionary Soldier. Perhaps we each have facts the other does not have.
