John Black's house and mill are shown on the 1820 / 1825 county map on the Little River (at Milton, I believe). My notes are that the estate of John Black was sold in a listing in Deed Book N, page 137, 1836. Sarah C. Black administrator. My notes are messy, but it looks like 886 acres that was bought by John D. Williams. The entry includes a map that shows location of neighbors. Deed Q-58, 1854, has a map of the same general area with the history of some of the land. Richard Lorenz
