SC. along with so many of the other names associated with these two lines. John Miller of Laurens CO. first married to unknown Cherokee Indian woman then married second to Margaret Garrett d/o Silas Garrett and Ann "Nancy" Young. I descend from John and Margaret through their son Charles W. Miller b. 1815 and his wife Priscilla Garrett d/o Levi Garrett and Mary Dillard. I also have another Garrett line through Joseph Garrett son of John Garrett and Hannah Harris, Joseph was married Priscilla Ramage Dillard, sister to Mary Dillard, both were daughters of Major James Dillard and Mary Ramage. Joseph and Priscilla Dillard,Garrett's daughter Sarah "Sallie " Garrett married Levi Burk s/o James and Barbara Briggs, Burk. The Harris line is very mixed with a number of the people listed above, Joseph Harris born 1763 Union SC. d. 9-1841 (It is believed by some the wife of Joseph Harris was Martha Jones,) This is not been proven by me. It is also believed the father of Joseph Harris is Richard Harris born ca.1739-45 and he was married to Jemima Jones b. 1741 Union Co. SC. d/o Samuel Jones and unknown wife. Possible children of Richard & Jemima Jones, Harris are: 1. Joseph Harris b. 5-10-1763 Union CO. SC. m. Martha Jones. 2. Nathan Harris b. ca. 1760's 3. William Harris b.ca. 1760's m. Maria Briggs 4. Hannah Harris b. ca. 1755 m. 11-12-1774 John Garrett 5. Thomas Harris b. ca. 1750-60's m.
