Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YeB.2ACI/545.1.2.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: jo--------perhaps related benjamin saxons, but per the laurens co, sc records book 1785-1820, b.h.saxon's wife was named mary, not sarah. also per the laurens records book, this b.h. saxon; j.a.elmore; and james dillard sold several tracts of land together there in laurens co, sc, which i believe may have been in the town of laurens. speaking of this james dillard, james mc laughlin; john mc laughlin and an andrew parks signed as security re the estate of my william harris, jr 1799 laurens co, sc. this james dillard also signed this page. perhaps, this was in some official capacity but his title not given. re sarah green saxon, wife of the benjamin saxon, you named, per laurens deed book A, page 123, patrick cunningham and wife, ann, sold to david green, minister, 100 acres on north side of reedy river. witnesses were my william harris, jr; edward kemp; and benjamin tuner. laurens co, sc records definitely indicate that patrick's wife, ann harris cunningham, was a sister of my william harris, jr. i am wondering if this rev david green was related to sarah green saxon? does the "martin book" say who sarah green saxon's father was? thanks--------belva
