Thomas to Menoah McPherson, tract purchased by me from Wade A. Fowler, formerly John Fowler, dec. Borders Wiley Y. ? Fowler, Wade A. Fowler, and Michael Burts. Deed Q-232, 1859, has W. D. Johnson mortgaging a 1 acre lot and house to Davenport McPherson. Located Long Lick of Mount Pleasant. Borders Noah McPherson, Wade A. Fowler. Lot where W. D. Johnson has carriage manufacture. Deed U-98, 1874, Wm. F. Henderson sold 47 acres to N. F. McPherson. Borders Mt. Pleasant Ch., W. A. Fowler, and L. G. Ball. (I do not know who N. F. McPherson is, or if I copied the name wrong. It is easy to confuse the old script T and F. There is an N. T. McPherson on the 1883 map very close to Mt. Pleasant Ch. McPhersonville Post Office is shown adjacent to N. T. McPherson.
