My GGGG grandmother Nancy Duncan b 1774 NC married John Childers/Childress in Laurens Co SC.abt 1788. They had many children, but the first 7 were confirmed as born in Laurens Co: John married Rhoda and settled in Pickens Co, Anna married Wm Taylor and settled in Lumpkin Co Ga, , Mary married Thomas Goff and settled in N. Ga, Wm C. married his first cousin Anna Childers daughter of Douglas Childers,and settled in Lumpkin, Elizabeth married James P. Neal and lived in Lumpkin and Walker Co's Ga , Rebecca married Thomas J. Burns N. Ga, and Samuel married Ruth Gray in Tn. Most migrated to MCMinn Co Tn before 1830, (after their father John had died). "Any information on the (parents )of Nancy Duncan and John Childers is much appreciated.." According to Cherokee applications Nancy had a brother John Duncan who would have been born probably in the 1770's, also.Thanks for sharing.
