    3. I have several deed records in which Pyles Creek is mentioned. In a couple of them the deed is described as Reedy River, branch of Pyles Creek. In one it is described as Horse Cr. and Pyles Cr. Horse Cr. is the last tributary in the county of Reedy, on the western side of Reedy. I have not found a Pyles family that I can connect with this part of the county. The deeds are from the 1820s. Names on the deeds are as follows. Allen Saxon, Nimrod Nabors, John Russell, Thos. Williamson, John Williamson, Eliz. Williamson, widow Goss, Hugh Goss, Joel Ellison, Micajah Jones, Ira Arnold, John Nabors, Mason Nabors, Allen Nabors, John Bagwell, Tilman Niblet, Robt. F. Stephens, and Nancy Clark. Based on the descriptions in the deeds, Pyles Cr. could be a branch of either Horse Cr. or Reedy itself. If anyone knows something about the location of Pyles Cr. please let me know. Thanks, Richard Lorenz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard A.
