    3. I did not finish my last submission because of a thunderstorm that was getting too close. I am confidant that the property in question (Deeds T-85, T-287, T-288, and U-634) are located about 1.5 miles east of Harmony Church. J. Kay, W. N. Andrews, and W. L. Wood are all shown on the 1883 map near the bottom of grid C3 (if you have the version of the 1883 map that I have marked with letters and numbers). The grid-marked version is available in a red-covered 3-ring notebook that I left for public use at the Laurens Co. library. The binder includes an index of people's names and an index of names of places shown on the 1883 map. Names of places that I encountered elsewhere are included, totaling about 600 places. The red-covered binder used to be readily visible on the top of a counter, but the last time that I was there it was filed on a shelf below a counter. There is a W. F. Madlock on this map in grid section E2, about 3 miles southwest of Greenpond, on the southwest side of South Rabun Cr. There are several Nash families nearby. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Aletajean49@cs.com> To: <SCLAUREN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 17, 2006 3:35 PM Subject: [SCLAUREN] Silas Medlock > Cleburne, I'd like to encourage you to participate in the Medlock/Matlock > DNA > project.
