Witnesses James and Ann Saxon. Dowery of Keziah Underwood. Deed J-242, 1809 / 1811. Hugh O'Neall sold 229 acres on ? Bush River to George Wolf, except for 2 acres for a Meeting House. Borders Nimrod Argo, Mathew Jones, John Miller, Sr., Josiah East, and Betsy Barksdale. Dowery of Elizabeth O'Neill. Deed K-123, 1814 / 1816. Geo. Wolf, Sr., sold 370 acres to Isaac Tannery / Turney? except where meeting house stands. On waters of Bush River. Borders estate of John Miller, Josiah East, Betsy Barksdale. Dowery of Agnes Wolf. Deed K-71, 1814. John and Mary Sinclair transferred "our interest" in 175 acres on Little River, property of Allen East, dec. (oldest son of Shadrick East) &: bequeathed to said Allen. Part of 245 acre grant to Sarah Hunter in 1785. Said Allen leaving mother Mary E., now wife of John Sinclair, Cusiah E. wife of Wm. Milner, Nancy E. wife of John Sinclair, and Thos. East, his heirs. Borders Wm. Dunlap, Alex Glenn, Geo. Wolf, and Jos. Wilson ?. Deed K-152, 1816, has similar wording as above, but mentions bordering property owners as Wm. Dunlap, Geo. Wolf, Caleb Glenn, and Jos. Williams. I believe that the "Meeting House" mentioned above is Hurricane Methodist Church which is located a couple miles southwest of Joanna. I believe that the Wolf property was on the southeast side of the church, but I am not certain about this.
