In the 1840 census, Andrew McKnight had 1 female in his household in the 0-5 year age bracket. The names of his children should be in the 1850 census, page 315, dwelling 1759. W. N. Andrews is shown on the 1883 map of Laurens Co., about 1.5 miles east northeast of Harmony Church. This is about 4 miles from where I believe Andrew McKnight lived. Deed T-287, 1872, shows a transfer of 177 acres on the west side of Reedy River from Matilda Andrews to W. N. Andrews. The only census records that I have for W. N. Andrews are the 1870 and 1880 censuses. ----- Original Message ----- From: Yogagolf@aol.com To: ralorenz@comcast.net ; SCLAUREN-L@rootsweb.com Cc: Yogagolf@aol.com Sent: Saturday, September 02, 2006 12:45 PM Subject: Re: [SCLAUREN] Andrew McKnight My database shows a Malissa Emily McKnight (1840-1929 and buried in Friendship Pres. Hickory Tavern, Laurens Co. SC) who married William Neal Andrews. William Neal Andrews was the son of Absolom Andrews and Matilda Beeks. Matilda Beeks was d/o Francis Marion Beeks. I am a Beeks descendant. Any further information regarding Malissa Emily McKnight? He was born about 1803. As a "teaser", he had a child Hiram W., age 16, in 1850. ----- Original Message ----- From: <jelicoantiques@yahoo.com> To: <SCLAUREN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 31, 2006 12:12 PM Subject: [SCLAUREN] Re: John Hiram Newton Simms/Sims and Mary Lucinda Abercrombie > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/YeB.2ACI/208.2.1.1 > > Message Board Post: > > Hello! > My Great-Grandfather was William Thomas McKnight > born 1849 in Ga.
