Hello List, William McPherson was born Dec. 07, 1812, he died October 18, 1881, he didnot have a will; his daughter pruchased his Bible for $.50. when the estate was sold. Does anyone in the Laurens/Waterloo, Area have a CLUE to where this Bible is? His children were ; Martha Adalade McPherson---b. Sept. 25, 1860---------- (she the Bible from bought from her dad's estate.) Martha Adalade McPherson married Newton Parlee Hellams, son of James Hellams and Nicey South. He was born August 06, 1858 and d. April 08, 1921. The GGGrand Children from this family may have this Bible. Can anyone help me n this? She is buried at Rabon Creek Baptist Cemm. All the Hellams Family are burried at Rabon Creek Bap. Ch. into the 1900's. Children; John Robert Hellams,b. Dec. 30, 1883; d. Aug. 02, 1958--Laurens County Lillie Hellams, B. Sept. 18, 1886; d. Feb. 18, 1966--Laurens County Carrie Hellams, b. 1888, d. 1940 James Hellams, b. Aug.06, 1900 The Hellams are intemarried into the Vaughn family, the Henderson Family, Gordon Familly The last one I have in my records is a Thomas David Hellams, no birth date or death date.
