Launa Allen Cooley died Saturday, July 7, 2001 at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center. Mrs. Cooley, 82, resided at 905 Monterey Drive. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Shellhouse Funeral Home. The Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Mausoleum. A native of LAURENS, SC, Mrs. Cooley was the daughter of the late Arthur & Lessie Martin Allen. She was a homemaker. She was a volunteer for the Tri-Development Center. She was married to the late James Tillman Cooley. Survivors include a son, Keith Cooley of AIKEN, SC; a brother, Edwin Allen; 5 sisters, Lillie Mae Holder, Norva Hopper, Sybil Platt, Mabel Knight, & Maude Boyte.
