Hi, According to my research, I show a Samuel Proctor b. in Belfast, Ireland, and his son, Samuel Proctor, b. April 2, 1713 in Derriaghy, North Ireland. I'm showing that both of them died in Laurens County, SC. The younger Samuel's Son Phillip was born in 1756 in Ireland, married Margaret/Jane Caldwell, and had my grgrgrgrandfather John Proctor who ended up moving his family to Jackson County, TN in the late 1700's.
