I assume you have seen Laurens Deed B 55 in 1786 when Andrew Rodgers, Jr. sold two Horseshoe tracts to Nicholas Eveleigh. It refers to the 1763 land survey for the Abernathys and Hunt. The property was on the North side of the Saluda River. Deed D 316 in 1793 mentioned that John Abernathy, exor of estate of N. Eveleigh, sold the land to Edward Rutledge. Do you know if there is a Rodgers family connection to the Eveleigh, Abernathy and Hunt families? Do you know which Andrew Rodgers, JR sold the property in 1786? Which Rodgers in Laurens are you researching?
