This is an abstract of old wills Newberry County Court House, Will Book "A". page #2- James Hodges, deed. Will 5-19-1787; proved 6-5-1787. Wife: Martha, Ch: Joseph, Christina, Jesse, and Rebecca Shaw and Patty Shew. Other legatees: Sarah Glass and Toby Glass. Witnesses: Reuben Golding, George Elliott, Haley Shaw, and Joseph Hodges. If I come across any more in the last 100+ pages I will let you know. I was not looking for any of the surnames you have but just off the top of my head I didn't see any. Hope this is some help,Red.
