It is as if they fell from the sky. It has only been in the past month that I found out they came to Arkansas from S.C. --- I am searching for info on James Hayes who married a woman named Jane (?). They had 3 sons born in Pickens Co.(John, Joseph & James Jr.) which is the same as Pendleton Dist. The sons were born 10/1836, ?/1837 & 2/1838 respectively. I am anxious to hear from you.
