Ken, Two words triggered my attention to your message. The unknown parents of my gr gr gr grandfather, William D. Arnold, appears to be from the area of Princeton and Ware Shoals, SC just before 1800. I have knowledge of the line of Benjamin Arnold which owned Arnold's Mill at Tumbling Shoals on the Reedy River. Benjamin's line used the given name William, but try as I may, I cannot make a match to my William D. Arnold. I believe that my William D. is another Arnold line. William D. Arnold, b 1784, married Susannah Gaines and their first child was born 1911. Have you anything to share on this? Thanks, Dick Arnold
