I have in my notes from Deed Book Q, page 116, a mortgage of 18 acres of land owned by Deby Ann Craddock, land where she lived. Mortgage was to A P Martin and B S James. Land bordered Maj. John Johnson and others. Witnesses Hugh J. Simpson and Nathan Neighbors. I am quite certain that this land was near Hurrican Baptist Church and Neighbors Crossroads. I am the person that thought her name might be Libby, I suppose since I had never heard of a Dibby. So forget the Libby. There is also a mortgage of 100 acres of land owned by James W. Craddock. Book Q, page 69. Mortgaged to A. P. Martin. Land bordered A P Martin, B S James, and John Mason. The date for this transaction was 1854. These people lived near Joanna. Richard Lorenz
