Do you have any birth or death dates? Are your parents still alive? If so, they should be able to tell you who your great-grand parents are. That would help in finding your ancestors. Also, if you know the last names of your grand mother, great grand mother, that would help, too. Strangely enough, most genealogy folks are focusing on many generations back, and won't know who your great grandparents are since that is too new.
